Tradewind are currently recruiting an experienced Primary teacher to work for a highly popular school in Ashton Under-Lyne, Tameside. This is full-time role which will begin 08/01/2021 and run until the end of the academic year. This KS2 intervention role will involve delivering targeted small group sessions to pupils working below age-related expectations across Years 3-6. Experience across KS2 will be crucial to your success. Regrettably, on this occasion, the school are not able to consider applications from NQT's.

About the Role:
This role would suit an experienced KS2 teacher who has a secure knowledge and understanding of age-related expectations across years 3-6. As the intervention teacher, you will be required to liaise effectively with class teachers across KS2 to recognise where and what to revisit and reteach in order to address misconceptions and accelerate pupil progress. You will be expected to keep up-to-date records of individual pupil progress and report regularly back to class teachers with both verbal and written feedback analysing data in relation to intervention plans.


As part of the KS2 team, you will:
-Have full access to a range of CPD opportunities throughout the academic year
-Be supported by hard working teachers across KS2
-Have access to shared resources to support learning across year 3-6


Essential requirements:
*QTS Certification.
*A minimum of 3 years teaching experience across KS2
*Excellent references to support prior experience
