Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with an Outstanding School based in Hounslow, who are seeking an inspirational Early Years teacher to undertake a full-time role for the remainder of the 2020/21 academic year, with a permanent position available for the right candidate in September 2021. Outer London MPS salary available - £30,480-£41,483, dependent upon experience.

The school has a strong focus on Quality First Teaching and dedicated senior leaders meaning that teachers work in a positive and supportive environment. From September the school is looking for a Year 6 teacher who is committed, ambitious and keen to develop a career. Hard work and dedication is required but this is rewarded through personal development.

The school aim to provide rich experiences and opportunities through a broad and varied curriculum, which allows every child to enjoy their own success. Focussing not only on the academic achievement of pupils, but striving to develop the whole child by offering a range of sporting, creative and residential activities. The school try to make learning creative, stimulating, inclusive and fun, with lots of challenge and ambitious goals for the future.

For this Year 6 Teacher position, the school are seeking candidates who:

*Demonstrate excellent National Curriculum knowledge.
*Excellent classroom practice and experience of working in KS2.
*Effective communication skills and a commitment to a collaborative team approach.
*Excellent organisational skills.
*Energy, loyalty, passion and integrity.
*An ambition to develop leadership skills and qualities.
*High aspirations for all children, themselves and a desire to raise standards.
*QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree.

The core duties for this role are:
*To set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
*Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
*Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge.
*Plan and teach well-structured lessons.
*Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
*Make accurate and productive use of assessment.
*Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
