This wonderful primary school is a fantastic 2 form entry school, part of a large and successful federation of schools including 3 primary schools and 4 secondary schools. This school is an Outstanding Ofsted school, and the primary schools within this trust teach subject specific lessons with specialist teachers in KS2. Therefore, students have their own Ancient History, Maths, Science, English etc teachers, as well as a main form tutor for their class. Training and development at this school is excellent and also shared within the trust, so teachers have many people to learn from and share good practise with. The students come from a very socially deprived background.


About the Role - KS2 Ancient History Teacher - Westminster, Central London

*This teaching post is suitable to a primary teacher with an interest in Ancient History.
*The ideal teacher will have at least one or two years' experience teaching in the UK and following the British curriculum, ready for a new opportunity.
*You will be required to teach Ancient History to KS2 only, so any previous experience teaching Ancient History is beneficial.
*You do not need a previous Ancient History degree, but this is beneficial if you do.
*You must hold Qualified Teacher Status.
*Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is also beneficial, but if you are a suitable teacher with experience in KS1 and seeking a change, this is also suitable.
*The joining teacher will also have a form tutor group and be responsible for their own class.
