KS2 Primary Teacher - Marple, Stockport

Tradewind are seeking to employ an outstanding teacher for a long-term position which will commence October 2020 and run for at least two terms with a possible extension until the end of the academic year. About the role:
As the KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for a mixed ability class of approximately 30 pupils with a large percentage of the class being EAL. As a result, the ability to utilise strategies to overcome language barriers will be key to your success in the role. You will also be joined by a full-time TA who has a vast amount of experience supporting pupils in KS2.

The successful candidate will:

*Have secure subject knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and plan detailed lessons with effective resources that are engaging and meaningful

*Be able to reflect on lessons and identify and address misconceptions in order to drive learning forward

*Analyse data effectively and plan interventions to bridge the gaps and raise levels of attainment

*Implement a range of resources that cater for visual, audio and kinaesthetic learning preferences making use of technology where appropriate

*Monitor pupil progress and keep ongoing records that can be shared when liaising with phase leaders and the SENDCO

*Make a positive contribution to the wider curriculum and attend school events in the local community

*Adhere to all school policies and ask questions where/when you need clarification.

To be considered for the KS2 teacher role you must:
-Hold QTS certification (or an equivalent).
-Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks. Or be happy to undertake a new DBS through us
-Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
-Have the legal right to work in the UK
