Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two form entry Primary School in Trafford to start in September until at least July 2020. This is a full-time role with a salary of up to £70 per day.

*Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school:

We are recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry primary school in Trafford. This is a vibrant, happy school because it is a community where the partnerships between governors, staff, parents, pupils and the wider community are valued. This school is set in wonderful grounds, which they use to stimulate learning and as the basis for many topics and clubs.

The headteacher provides strong leadership. She has established a school ethos in which everyone feels valued. Relationships between staff are very positive and it is a nice place to work. There is an effective professional development programme, and the school also works well with other schools in the area to ensure that staff learn from good practice.

The school is based in Trafford and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role:

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their SEN department, mainly within KS2. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and some experience of working with children. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself will involve supporting the pastoral and SEN Team within the SEN department, helping to deliver interventions, but not exclusively academic support. You will be required to work 8.30am to 03.30pm Monday to Friday. The school are looking for somebody who has the ability to be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
