About the role

This primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 5 class. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and experience of working with children within Key Stage 2.

The role itself will involve supporting the class teacher in the delivery of the National Curriculum. The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to work with students in focus groups, helping with the delivery of Literacy and Numeracy, as well as supporting lower ability students throughout lessons. There may also be occasions where the full class may need to be taken in the teachers' absence.
