Tradewind are recruiting for a KS3 Maths leader at a GOOD rated 11-18 academy in South East London. This is a full-time, permanent post beginning in September 2020.
Located near Bromley, this is a thriving, forward thinking academy, which was graded Good in October 2019. It is consistently one of the top schools in the South East London region in terms of student progress and the school's progress 8 score in 2019 was 0.82.
The Maths department is well resourced with interactive whiteboards in every classroom and each teacher having a work laptop. You will be passionate about teaching mathematics and bringing the very best from each pupil. As a member of the mathematics leadership team you will be responsible for KS3 Mathematics provision, working with the Subject Leader to share a strong vision and direction for the department.

The successful candidate will be required to:
* Encourage and guide pupils across the three Key Stages
* Employ a variety of evaluation strategies to provide targeted feedback
* Be motivated and inspired by researching new pedagogy on learning and teaching
* Be creative and reflective in the planning of lessons and schemes of works
* Have the skills to form excellent working relationships with all individuals.
To apply for this role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Have excellent knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum.
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
