This over-subscribed Wandsworth school has a fantastic reputation locally, and previous cohorts have achieved great results with +90% achieving 5 or more 9-5 grades. The school is a specialist college in Mathematics and Computing and completed a building programme which has increased ICT facilities and given modern, bright facilities and resources. Parents, staff and students have a strong connection in this school, and work together very well with few behaviour issues and pupils that are keen to learn. Although a holistic education is very much encouraged, many students from this school go on to achieve places at Russell Group Universities, and some Oxbridge too. The Maths department has 6 staff, all of very good tenures and welcomes NQTs with an excellent induction programme of which you would be responsible for.

You will lead from the front and have a knack for guiding less experienced staff to get the best out of them, whilst supporting more experienced staff in their career development.
*This is an essential role for the school in line with their development plans, and as such is a high-profile position, they want to fill with the very best Leadership talent.
*As a post that will be responsible for tailoring the way Maths is taught across the school the successful post holder will need to have strong management experience, ideally in several different settings.
