Located in the leafy outer London borough of Enfield this well-run, high performing school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher who has the experience and passion to lead on the subject. The school has recently been awarded a 'Good' Ofsted and is in the process of building up its departments to achieve the top grade next time around. Part of this process is to bring experienced teachers into middle management roles within the core subjects who will be on a path to senior leadership. Behaviour at the school is good and improving although students must be fully engaged to reduce problems. Parents are supportive of the school and the potential for the school to improve further is excellent.

*Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching
*Ability to motivate, engage and progress pupils from all backgrounds
*Understanding of BTEC, GCSE and A-Level teaching
*Excellent subject knowledge in Science
*Desire to improve teaching through continual professional development
*Keen to train and develop other teachers across the school
