Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and high-performing Teacher of Geography who will be able to take on a maternity role which will start in the next few weeks or next term depending on your availability. This client believe in high expectations and a sense of collaborative and positive enthusiasm which brings out the best in their department. Pupils study humanities in Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, pupils choose at least one of History or Geography to GCSE. Geography is an important subject at key stage 3 where all pupils study it, and a popular choice at GCSE, with 70% of the cohort the subject.

In the Sixth form our Humanities department offers A-levels in Geography, History, Government and Politics, Economics, and Psychology. This client welcome applications from those interested in teaching Geography A-level, and other humanities subjects.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the teaching of Geography in GCSE and A-level and also to the work in preparing for these courses in KS3.
