Tradewind SEND are currently recruiting for an ASC Teaching Assistant for a special needs school in Brent. This ASC Teaching Assistant position is full time and will start immediately following a successful trial day. The school are looking to hire on a long-term basis for the remainder of the academic year.

The role of an ASC Teaching Assistant is fulfilling and varied with multiple responsibilities; you will be expected to support the class teacher during lessons with the educational and social needs of pupils, you will support in setting up and closing down of the class, build resources and work 1:1 and group work with students. You will support in phonics, to engage students and ensure their progress. Due to the students' needs and ASC there is a focus on developing Social Skills in lessons, during exercise and in group sessions improving life skills and communication skills.
