Do you have experience working with children who display challenging behaviour? Are you looking to support pupils with social, emotional, mental health difficulties?

Tradewind is currently working with alternative provisions across Northampton that provide education for permanently excluded pupils on a short-term basis. They also offer placements for pupils having difficulties in mainstream schools on a long-term basis and currently looking for members of staff who can provide 1:1 support.

  • Full-time/Long-term positions.
  • Competitive pay rates (70-80 per day).
  • March/April start.
  • Located in Northamptonshire.

If successful, you will be employed as a learning support assistant to work with pupils in a wide range of activities. The position is term-time only (8.30am-4pm) and is to start when Schools fully return for the full academic year.

Criteria:

  • Experience working within a similar environment (Min 3 months)
  • Strong behaviour management.
  • Knowledge of SEMH, ADHD and complex needs
  • Degree qualified or completed SEN qualifications (desirable)
  • Patient, enthusiastic and a positive role model for pupils
  • Available full-time
  • Willing to take on instruction from other members of staff
  • DBS or willing to complete one asap
  • Available on a full-time basis
