We are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is committed to educating and nurturing pupils with Autism and Communication Difficulties.
Person Specification:
*Do you have Teaching Assistant Experience?

The position is for a Full Time, Long Term SEN Teaching Assistant. The school is based in Newham, East London and has practical transport links with West Ham and Star Lane which are a few minutes' walk from the school. There is also a bus stop around the corner to the school with the 276 bus route.
*To become a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need to be positive and enjoy engaing with children
*It is desirable that as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you have a Teaching Assistant background or you have an interest in working with students who have Special Needs
*You will be supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis under the direction of the Teacher within mainstream classes
*All of the classes will also have a Special Needs Teacher leading and guiding you

Within the class there is a maximum of 30 children who come from a wide variety of nationalities and backgrounds in the local community.
