We are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is committed to educating and nurturing pupils with Autism and Communication Difficulties.
Person Specification:
*Do you have Teaching Assistant Experience?
*Are you looking for a career in Teaching within an Outstanding working environment?
*Do you have good access to Newham, East London?
*Are you adaptable, flexible and nurturing?

The position is for a Full Time, Long Term SEN Teaching Assistant. The school is based in Newham, East London and has practical transport links with West Ham and Star Lane which are a few minutes' walk from the school. There is also a bus stop around the corner to the school with the 276 bus route.
*To become a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need to be positive and enjoy engaing with children
*It is desirable that as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you have a Teaching Assistant background or you have an interest in working with students who have Special Needs
*You will be supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis under the direction of the Teacher within mainstream classes
*All of the classes will also have a Special Needs Teacher leading and guiding you

This three-form entry primary school is committed to creating an innovative and inspiring curriculum for students. Senior leaders invest heavily in CPD for their staff's career progression. Within the class there is a maximum of 30 children who come from a wide variety of nationalities and backgrounds in the local community.

The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
