Learning Mentor
Tradewind Recruitment are working exclusively with a Primary school within Trafford, who are looking for a Learning Mentor to cover a long term absence within one of their bubbles.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with SEN and Autism. Experience working with children who have attachment and trauma disorders is an advantage but is not essential. The key skill here is being able to listen and have a calm attitude towards negative behaviours.
This school operates between the hours of 8.00am until 4:15pm and you will be required full time which is Monday to Friday.
Our client is seeking a Learning Mentor who is:
Able to create a positive and creative learning environment
Confident in your knowledge and understanding of how children learn
Able to motivate, inspire and lead children
Confident in helping identify barriers to learning and understand strategies to reduce these
To register you will need:
A CV covering the last 10 years (please state all gaps in employment)
A DBS on the update service or will be happy to process one through Tradewind
Hold two professional referees that can be contacted on professional email addresses
Hold right to work within the UK
