Do you enjoy building positive relationships with young people?

This role will be ongoing in a medium sized 'Outstanding' Primary School based in Trafford, with the opportunity of an immediate start and continuing in September 2020.

You will be part of a vibrant, driven and supportive team, with the opportunity of applying for permanent positions at the end of the contract. You will be reporting to the class teacher and the school SENCO to provide suitable support with their education and behaviour. The school are ideally looking for someone with experience of mentoring young people and who is comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour.

This school has a focus on improving progress and behaviours throughout the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or Youth worker with previous experience of working with children to join a pro-active and hard working team, looking to make a positive impact with young people.

To be eligible to apply for this role you will need:

* Recent experience of working within a Primary school and supporting children with SEN and Challenging behaviour
*A current Team Teach certificate (training can be provided)
* DBS on the update service (we can provide application details)
* To be able to provide two professional references within the last two years
* A positive and passionate approach to education
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work
* The ability to deliver fun and engaging sessions
