Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Are you an experienced SEN TA or LSA looking to work with SEN students on either a full-time or part-time basis at a lovely school located in East Hertfordshire? Tradewind is working with an exceptional mainstream Primary School that is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP!

***Learning Support Assistant - Mainstream school located in Bishop Stortford, Hertfordshire
***Working with a dyslexic student in Year 5 helping to prepare for next year's SATs
***Open to all experience levels - must have a passion for SEN
***£80 to 100 per day - Post will be for the whole 2020/21 academic year - Starting ASAP
***Role could be suitable for part time candidates


This is a lovely, inclusive school that has a higher than average number of pupils that have a recognised special education need. The school has excellent facilities and support for these pupils with the aim for totally inclusive education for all and with each child going on to reach their full potential. Starting as soon as possible they are looking for an experienced LSA to join and support a student with dyslexia who is in Year 5 and starting to prepare for her SATs exams next year.


The Teaching Assistant must:
***Hold at least a Level 3 TA qualification or Degree or experience
***Have recent experience working as a TA/LSA
***Have energy, commitment and creativity
***Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
***Have a positive attitude and be able to
****Be available and willing to commit for the academic year
