Tradewind Recruitment is working with a large, progressive Secondary School in Brent who are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant for an immediate start. This position will be offered on a full time, long term basis, running until the end of the academic year with a daily rate of £80 - £85 per day based on experience.

The Role - Learning Support Assistant - Brent, North West London:
*As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and progress of all students who have additional learning needs
*You will set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence within your students and assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Support Plans, and/or Communication, Sensory and other programmes
*You will promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy and encourage students to take responsibility for their own behaviour and create and maintain a purposeful, structured and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of students' work
