Tradewind and Sanza Teaching Agency are working exclusively with a three form entry Primary School that are seeking an a Learning Support Assistant to support a Y2 student with mild ASD and Challenging Behaviour. Ideally you will be a recent graduate from a reputable university, or an experienced LSA with strong literacy and numeracy skills. The successful applicant will work alongside other members of staff to offer 121 support for this pupil. You may be responsible for supporting other learners in the classroom and may be required to work in small groups. The successful candidate will be flexible and very caring.

Key skills and experience needed:
*University Graduate
*Or previous experience within a school or other child related work
*One to one and small group work
*Professional manor
*Enthusiasm and friendly approach

The school has an on-site resource base for students with Autistic Spectrum Condition and has an inclusive approach to children. The school has excellent facilities for multi-sensory and visual learning. The school understands the range of factors that can affect a child's personal development and attitude to school and have successfully developed a range of programmes and support networks to help and encourage children experiencing emotional barriers with their learning. These include counselling, friendship groups and anger management.
