Key Responsibilities:

Support the teacher in the delivery of tailored lesson plans, adapting activities to meet the individual needs of students.

Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being of all students.

Provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring students are fully engaged and making progress.

Collaborate with the SEN team to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.

What We're Looking For:

Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential - a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are key!

Commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
