Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a new role in Hackney, London?
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a happy Primary School in Hackney from Easter 2021. This is a full time, long-term role to work until the end of the academic year with a 6-month probationary period. You will be working with a pupil in KS2, supporting with their learning and providing support to the class teacher. The school are looking for a highly able and competent learning support assistant to join their team.
As a Learning Support Assistant for this role, you must have the following:
- Proven experience working with children with SEND needs, in a mainstream primary setting.
- Experience working in Key Stage 2 in a Primary School.
- A recognised qualification is desirable.
- Confident behaviour management skills.
- Ability to establish a good relationship with children and staff.
- Sound knowledge of the curriculum in KS2.
- Able to use your own initiative as well as be able to work as part of a team.
- Motivating and encouraging for children to learn.
