Position: Learning Support Assistant

Duration: March 4^th, long-term

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.15 am - 4.15 pm

Salary: £85-95 per day

The school has an excellent reputation which encourages independent learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every student receives the necessary support to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Work with students in the classroom who require additional learning support.
• Assist students in accessing the curriculum and encourage their active participation in school activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
• Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing their specific learning needs.
• Work closely with teachers and staff members to implement individual education plans.
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback to the Inclusion Team and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A positive and enthusiastic approach to work, embodying a "can-do" attitude.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanour.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting (desirable).
