Tradewind Recruitment are working with a diverse, inclusive and progressive Secondary School in Harrow who are seeking a proactive, confident Learning Support Assistant to join their inclusion team. This is a full time, long term position that will commence immediately and run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

About the role - Learning Support Assistant - Harrow:
*Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
*Set challenging yet achievable expectations for students to promote self-esteem and independence
*Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Support Plans
*Differentiate lesson in accordance to students' individual needs, creating an environment which allows every student to achieve their full potential
*Promote positive social, emotional and academic behaviour; running out of classroom interventions when necessary

About the candidate - Learning Support Assistant - Harrow:
*The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar position, or working with children/youths with special needs or social, emotional or behavioural difficulties
*Be confident, creative, resilient, proactive and take initiative
*Build positive relationships with students and staff alike
*Have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a large team setting
