Learning Support Assistant
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant, passionate about supporting students with diverse abilities and special educational needs? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive, encouraging mainstream Secondary School in Harrow who are seeking a passionate, hard working Learning Support Assistant to support key students with a range of special educational needs.
Working as part of the inclusion team, you will be working closely with a small group of key students with a range of special educational needs who require individual support within the mainstream classroom. You will assist in differentiating lessons plans, with guidance from class teachers, and also create and deliver individual and small group intervention sessions with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy.

The Principal at this Secondary School is also passionate about progressing the careers of staff members at the school and is eager to upskill Teaching Assistants aspiring to train as teachers, offering training to plan and deliver their own lessons as well as have additional pastoral responsibilities.
This position would particularly suit a passionate Learning Support Assistant seeking their next opportunity within a supportive and hard working team, or a recent graduate who is keen to gain experience, especially with SEN students, before pursuing a PGCE or Teacher Training course.
