Learning Support Assistant - January or earlier start available - Hertford, Hertfordshire - 1:1 and leading small groups - Well funded Specialist unit - £80 to £115 per day

We are looking to appoint compassionate and caring staff as Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistant s into their team to support their fantastic pupils. This is a great school and facility open ot appointing staff on a part and full time basis and also offer routes into teacher training and further development.

About the School - Learning Support Assistant

This is a fantastic Specialist School who specialise in the education of children with various levels of autism. Secondary aged and working to the primary P levels this is a great opportunity for those with both Primary and Secondary experience. Under the leadership of the SLT, the school has consistently developed into the 'Outstanding' provider it is today. The school supports children aged from 11 to 19 with varying levels of Autism. They are looking for compassionate and caring TA's or LSA's to support a their pupils as they develop key life skills essential for an independent life.

Role requirements - Learning Support Assistant

• TA or LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to work within a supportive SEN setting. OR recent Graduates looking to gain school / education experience
• Experience working alongside Autism and / or an understanding of Makaton or PECS
• The willingness to take training in safeguarding, medication administration and first aid
• A desire to work under challenging but highly rewarding circumstances
