As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you'll play a pivotal role in revolutionising the educational journey for students with special educational needs (SEN). Your primary responsibilities involve delivering interactive one-on-one assistance, nurturing an inclusive learning atmosphere, and crafting a vibrant classroom environment where every student can flourish.

***LSA - Community feel Primary School in Buckden

***Starting Immediately until July 2024

***Long term with the opportunity of becoming permanent with the school

***£80 - £95 per day

***Monday - Friday (8:30 - 3:30)

Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant position:

  • Prior Experience: Candidates often need previous roles working with students, showing they understand the needs and challenges of students, especially those with special educational requirements.
  • Kind Communication: Strong people skills are crucial, with a focus on being empathetic and patient to build positive relationships with students and provide the necessary support.
  • Team Player: LSAs are expected to work closely with teachers, special educators, and other professionals. The ability to work well as part of a team is highly valued.
  • Background Checks: Due to the role's nature, candidates may need to pass background checks to ensure students' safety and well-being.
