As a learning support assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised support to children within a SEND provision. Collaborating with a team of educators and professionals, you will contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement individualised support plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere to enhance student's social and academic growth.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing valuable feedback to the wider support team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly in a special educational needs setting.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of children with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and individual requirements.

To be considered for this role, we require:

  • Proof of Right to Work (Passport or Birth Certificate).
  • A CV covering 10 years of education or employment.
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or a willingness to process one with us (cost refunded).
