We are working with SEND Schools in Liverpool to recruit Learning Support Assistants to work with children aged from 3 years to 19 years old with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- To attend to the needs of children with SEND (this may include personal care).
- To take all appropriate measures to ensure that children are always safeguarded.
- To be willing to be flexible and work with a range of age groups throughout the school.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
Requirements:
- A Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) qualification
- Experience working with children or adults with SEND is beneficial.
- 2 satisfactory references.
- A DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
- A full education and employment history.
