Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Peterborough, Cambridgeshire - £80 to £95 per day - Immediate Start - Ofsted "Good" School - Opportunity for progression

Are you a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with a passion for joining a dynamic SEN team right away? Are you motivated to enhance the educational experience for children facing learning challenges?

Your role will include responsibilities such as providing one to one support and interventions in the subjects numeracy and literacy, managing class behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy, and promoting the inclusion of all pupils ensuring their have equal opportunities to learn and develop. You will also build strong relationships with pupils and other staff members.

**£80 - £95 per day, based on experience

**Monday to Friday during school hours, term-time only

Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant role:

  • Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably in a mainstream or Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting.
  • Familiarity with any of the following is advantageous: Autism awareness, Makaton, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
  • Willingness to undergo training in areas such as safeguarding, medication administration, and first aid.
  • A strong interest in working in challenging yet rewarding situations.
