Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Good school located just outsidte of Potters Bar who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive SEN team.
Ideally you will be experienced working with young people and have an understanding of SEMH / SEN needs of young people and students. Literacy and numeracy skills are also key (GCSE passes in English and Maths), a flexible approach to your work and a resilient, positive character are all essential characteristics.
You will be working on a 1:1 or small group basis running booster and intervention groups alongside the school's SENCO. Located in Hertfordshire with good transport links and accessible parking, the school offers state of the art facilities and an inclusive and diverse pupil population from the surrounding towns and villages.
Learning Support Assistant - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire:
** Have recent experience working as a TA/LSA or within youth work / young people.
** Bring energy, creativity and enthusiasm
** Have the ability to engage with colleagues, children, and parents
** Have an upbeat and can do attitude
