The position is initially for the remainder of the 2020/21 academic year, but with potential permanent role available from September 2021. The role is on a full-time basis 8:30am-3:45pm

The role will entail working 1-2-1 with a child in reception who has Spina Bifida. The pupil does have an Educational Healthcare Plan in place. The child will need support to aid his movement and at times may require help with toileting. He has global delay so will need support to help encourage learning.

To be considered for this Learning Support Assistant Role you must;

• Have previous experience working in a primary school setting
• Be a team player - this role requires someone who works well with teachers, pupils and parents
• Demonstrate commitment, dedication and resilience in your previous childcare work
• Have an ability to manage sometimes challenging behaviour
