Learning Support Assistant (TA)
This role requires working on a one to one basis with a key stage 1 child, who has additional needs. The extra support from a caring and patient adult helps this child flourish within a mainstream school setting. However, this role does need someone with class based experience and preferably someone who has supported a child with autism before. Not only is this a very rewarding job, but you would also be completely supported with ongoing training and development by both the school and Tradewind.
The school is located just outside of St.Helens town centre, and easily accessible by public transport links and the motorway. The school does offer some secure parking, which is on a first come first serve basis. The facilities at this school are second to none, and known as a hub to the local community.
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
* Has experience of working with primary age children
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
