Tradewind Hertfordshire are working with an inclusive and academic School looking for Learning Support Assistants to work alongside a number of key pupils adjusting to the return to school following lockdown. This is a full time post, 5 days a week working 8:30-4:00 daily.

The 7 form entry Secondary school have professional, approachable and committed staff, parents and carers and exemplary pupils who enjoy learning. Offering quality facilities and excellent resources to support the schools high standards of teaching and learning. The Learning Support Assistants aim is to enable all pupils to reach their full potential in this safe and happy setting.

The SENCO is looking for 2 reliable and hardworking learning support assistants (LSA's) to assist with raising attainment and providing booster/ catch up sessions for pupils who need additional assistance.
The ideal experience for this role will be:
- An experienced LSA, TA or teacher returning to the classroom and make an impact
OR
- A recent Graduate (Ideally Psychology or Education) looking to build on experience for a career in education
- Overseas trained teachers looking to gain classroom experience in the UK

Due to the nature of the role you will need to possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills and be available on a full time basis from January 2020 until July 2021. The school can also facilitate applicants available to start sooner.

Located in Watford with on-site parking the school can also be accessed with good public transport links to neighbouring towns, via the tube (met line) and is a short walk from the City centre. The school provide all staff with CPD and offer various links to local facilities for Schools Direct and staff looking to progress with professional courses.
