Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking to play a key role in supporting the education and development of primary school students? We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-established primary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons, providing support to individual students or small groups as needed.
Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student participation and engagement.
Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, ensuring that resources are organised and accessible for effective lesson delivery.
Behaviour Management: Support the maintenance of a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, implementing behaviour management strategies as directed by the class teacher.
Individualised Support: Work closely with students who may require additional assistance, adapting teaching methods to meet their specific needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and contributing to their educational journey.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
- A positive and flexible attitude towards learning and development.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
