About Us: Our school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. We believe in the importance of supporting students with diverse needs and abilities to ensure they reach their full potential.

Position Overview: As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a specific pupil, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are eager to learn and make a positive impact on the life of a child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the pupil, promoting their self-confidence and independence.
  • Maintain regular communication with the class teacher and SENCO regarding the pupil's progress and any concerns or achievements.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting (experience with SEN is beneficial but not essential).
  • Compassionate and patient demeanour, with a genuine desire to support the individual needs of the pupil.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, willing to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safeguarding.
  • hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
