Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Are you a level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant or HLTA with experience supporting students within small groups? You'll be working with students who are working behind target in English and Maths across all year groups including those in Year 6 in preparation for their SATs exams next summer. You will also have the opportunity to work those students who are working at higher levels to stretch and challenge them. This role would also be suitable for a fully qualified teacher and would be perfect for a TA aspiring to complete their Teaching training in the future.

The successful candidate will be taking guidance from the Teacher but will also have the freedom to plan sessions and assess progress which will be fed back to class teachers and senior leadership.
High levels of English and Maths and experience working with children with SEN including Autism would be beneficial for this role.

The school was graded good by Ofsted in their last inspection in 2017, the senior leadership have a strong vision for the school and high expectations of students behaviour.

There is good access to a range of IT including I pads, to help to engage and enthuse the children.
