Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 class in South Liverpool. The position is due to start in September 2020 and will continue for a minimum of 2 terms with a longer term contract on offer with the school.

The Role
Your duties as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant will include supporting the class teacher and leading small groups of students, mainly focusing on Maths and English. Under the direction of the teacher; you will be required to plan, deliver and assess students work - reporting back to the class teacher on progress.

The School
The school is an SEND school based in a lovely area of South Liverpool educating children from EYFS up to key stage 5. They have strong leadership who is visionary when it comes to improving the lives of the children. The children have a primary Autism diagnosis with associated communication, social and learning differences.

To join us and be considered for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant vacancy you must:
* Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or an NQT who is wanting more classroom based experience
* Have experience working in a KS2 setting;
* Be passionate about seeing children improve and succeed;
* This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
* Have the legal right to work in the UK.
