As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Providing one-to-one support to students.
- Supporting students with various additional needs, ensuring their access to the curriculum.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create personalised learning plans.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Possess a clear passion for supporting the learning and well-being of SEND students.
- A positive and patient attitude.
- A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
