Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor will provide Teaching in either English or Maths (whichever specialism you hold) Maths, English Responsibilities of the role include the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons to pupils in a secondary education setting who are lower ability learners and require extra intervention in these core subjects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of educational/vocational settings and is committed to ensuring that pupils achieve their qualifications by coordinating and delivering engaging lessons.

You will have:

Teaching Qualification at least to Level 4 (CTLLS/DTLLS/CertEd/PGCE)
GCSE or Level 2 in Maths, English and ICT (A-Level preferable)
Working knowledge of current GCSE Maths and English Standards
Excellent classroom behaviour management
Some knowledge of the KS3/4 curriculum's
