Long-term Cover Supervisor Role in Redbridge
Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Long-term cover supervisor at an 11-18, coeducational secondary school in Redbridge. The School are a welcoming and vibrant community with existing Tradewind supply members thoroughly enjoying their day of teaching at the Secondary School. They are looking to appoint a forward-thinking and adaptable cover supervisor to join their team from January until the end of the academic year.
So… What will be expected of you?
- Covering lessons across the curriculum.
- Leading classes, utilising behaviour management strategies to ensure a good learning environment.
- To be a team player, supporting different departments when called upon.
- To work 5 days per week, until the end of the academic year.
- 8:30am - 4:00pm each day
- An Enhanced DBS
- KCSIE Trained
- January start

- Do you have ambitions of becoming a teacher, in the future and are looking for an opportunity to develop your in class teaching?
- Are you already an experienced Cover Supervisor, and are looking to work in a new, dynamic and ambitious Secondary School?
- Are you a Teaching Assistant or support staff member looking to increase their whole class responsibilities?
Requirements
- Classroom experience - Whether you are a support staff member looking to change a role within a school or an experienced Cover Supervisor, understanding school routines and how students learn is essential.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Full -Employment Check.
- A positive and driven attitude to changing lives of students.
- QTS will need to be provided to be eligible for Supply Teacher rate.
