The role of the Student Mentor can be exceptionally challenging at times and requires someone with strong behaviour management.

The Mentor will be calm and a logical thinker as the children will challenge daily, being level headed and most of all be there for the students to approach is a major part of the daily duties you will always need to be level-headed and approachable.
· A brilliant and well-run provision for students from KS1-KS4 with SEMH difficulties

· Potential to be offered perm employment with the school.

The Person that needs to apply for this role will have the following attributes:

· A personable and friendly demeanor, you must be able to handle many situations that develop on a daily basis.
· Working very closely with the SLT Team, parents and class teachers to ensure that challenging behaviours are managed.
