LSA to support Visual Impairment within KS2

£70 - £85 per day

SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting for an Ofsted Outstanding Three Form Entry School based in Brent, which is diverse in many cultures, faiths, languages, backgrounds and abilities and thus, children are active and increasingly informed global citizens.
The school are looking for a candidate to work on a one to one basis with a child with a visual impairment. The candidate will support the child in all subjects throughout the day, this includes reading for them making sure they understand their tasks

Key skills include: an awareness of visual impairments, excellent IT skills, proven ability to work as a member of a team, knowledge of Braille and experience in pre-school settings.
Requirements:

* Experience in similar role
* Ability to work on a one to one basis
* Experience with Brail (not essential)
* Ability to use own initiative and follow instructions
* Ability to write reports on pupils progress
* Good Primary National Curriculum Knowledge
