Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Mathematics educator seeking a dynamic opportunity to inspire and guide students towards academic excellence? We are currently seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our esteemed institution in Sheffield, beginning immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Delivery:

    • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons in alignment with the curriculum.
    • Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that caters to diverse student needs.
  2. Student Assessment:

    • Conduct regular assessments to gauge student progress and provide constructive feedback.
    • Implement effective strategies to support students in achieving their academic goals.
  3. Differentiated Instruction:

    • Tailor teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
    • Provide additional support or enrichment activities as needed to ensure every student reaches their potential.
  4. Classroom Management:

    • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active participation and mutual respect.
    • Effectively manage classroom behaviour to create a conducive learning environment.
  5. Professional Development:

    • Stay abreast of the latest educational trends and methodologies in Mathematics.
    • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the overall improvement of the department.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (PGCE/QTS qualified).
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
