Are you a passionate and dedicated Mathematics educator seeking a dynamic opportunity to inspire and guide students towards academic excellence? We are currently seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our esteemed institution in Sheffield, beginning immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery:
- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons in alignment with the curriculum.
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that caters to diverse student needs.
Student Assessment:
- Conduct regular assessments to gauge student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement effective strategies to support students in achieving their academic goals.
Differentiated Instruction:
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Provide additional support or enrichment activities as needed to ensure every student reaches their potential.
Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active participation and mutual respect.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour to create a conducive learning environment.
Professional Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest educational trends and methodologies in Mathematics.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the overall improvement of the department.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (PGCE/QTS qualified).
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
