We are recruiting! We are currently looking for an excellent teacher who can teach Maths and Science to Key Stage 3 students.

Tradewind are currently working with an excellent faith school in Scunthorpe who are looking for a teacher to teach Maths and Science to Key Stage 3 students. You will be expected to do your own planning and marking for this role, but as such will be paid to scale (candidates can expect to earn between £120 and £180 per day for this position), and will be rewarded with generous PPA time.

Class sizes at this provision are small, typically around 20 students, so this is an excellent position as it allows you to really get to know your students, and the load of marking is considerably less. You can expect a large amount of non-contact time in your timetable, and the school day is short, making this an enticing position. This role will initially be for the summer term (Easter to summer), but as this is a vacant role there is definite potential for a permanent role if that is what you are looking for.

As this position is temporary, with a view to being permanent, it suits practitioners who are searching for a new role, or teachers that are happy working on a supply basis.

There are several schools in the same group around the country, so this could be an excellent opportunity to find another position within the trust.
