Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a leading independent, international school located in the borough of Barnet, offering the International Baccalaureate curriculum to its local and international students in EYFS to Key Stage 5. This school is looking for a Maths HLTA to start with them this September on a part-time long-term basis.

The successful applicant will:
*Be an encouraging, motivating practitioner with a passion for helping students succeed
*Be able to build positive relationships with students based on mutual trust and respect, in order to improve student attainment, and personal progression in the area of Maths
*Hold a degree in Mathematics, or have considerable experience working with the Mathematics curriculum
*Be confident differentiating lessons to suit the learning needs and abilities of key students

As a Maths HLTA, you will be working one to one with Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 students who have mild learning difficulties, delivering personalised, differentiated Maths lessons. You will be required to work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan and prepare these lessons and provide feedback on the student's progress. Strong organisational skills and initiative is required in this role, as well as the knowledge and ability to deliver exciting and engaging Maths lessons. This position will be two to three days per week on a long-term basis, commencing September 2019.

To be successful in the Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in any specialism
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
