About the School - Maths NQT, Wandsworth, Inner London

This ambitious and high climbing secondary school is based in the borough of Wandsworth and is in walking distance from 3 underground stations and various bus links, making it highly accessible from all of London. The well-resourced Maths departments key focus is providing children with a mastery level of mathematical learning and therefore are keen to develop an NQT who will eventually teach pupils to develop into deeper, conceptual learners. This school is currently an Ofsted "Good" level school which benefits from great behaviour and self-disciplined learners. The school strives to maintain a high level of expectation from the students and this has meant that there have been considerable higher attainment levels for pupils. The successful maths NQT will be supported through a personalised NQT induction year where they will be linked with an experienced Maths teacher and provided with the pedagogy to achieve an "outstanding" level of teaching.


About the Role - Maths NQT, Wandsworth, Inner London

*The teacher should have recent teacher training experience teaching Maths in schools in the UK.
*The Maths NQT should also hold a relevant teaching degree and QTS.
*This successful Maths NQT will be an individual who is driven to developing their practice to ensure that every child has an access to learning and achieves.
*An aspiration to develop subject knowledge continually and provide children with a mastery level of learning will be a large advantage.
*The successful applicant will ensure they become part of the school community and take part in extra-curricular activities such as maths related or problem solving clubs.
