Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an inspiring Teacher of Mathematics to join a welcoming school from September 2020 on a part-time basis. Located South of Ipswich, the school is easily commutable from Suffolk and parts of East Essex. The school can offer long term supply, temp to perm or straight to permanent for the right candidate. The role will be for the full 2020/2021 academic year at least.

The schools continues its rapid improvement in recent years. Leaders provide a clear vision and pupils, staff and parents are supportive of the standards and expectations. Teaching is both challenging and engaging with a varied and flexible curriculum ensuring interest and engagement from pupils. As a smaller school, this creates a genuine family feel to the environment where staff really get to know and understand their pupils needs.

The ideal Maths teacher will be:
A committed and reliable educator, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will lead through creative approaches including the use of ICT and other resources.
Up to date knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum, ideally with a proven track record of results at GCSE.

To be successful in this part time Maths Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
