Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a medium sized secondary school in West Essex, who are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join their welcoming team. The school able to consider applications from NQT's and those with experience. The successful teacher will be paid in line with thier pay scale either on MPS or UPS.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school and work alongside a hard-working and supportive team of staff. This position would suit a passionate, dedicated and motivational Mathematics teacher eager to achieve. The school is accessible by public transport and car, with plenty of onsite parking available.
Pupils behave very well, they respond promptly to instructions and work well together. There is a calm environment throughout the school with teachers modelling high expectations. The curriculum and activities are engaging and varied. Teachers are encouraged to use a range of effective techniques to help students develop their understanding and enjoy learning.
The successful Mathematics Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level at least and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.
To be successful in this Mathematics Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
