Starting in September as a full time Maths Teacher you will be responsible for delivering Maths across key stages 3, 4 and 5 joining a school with a big focus on pupil and staff development, enabling everyone at the school to achieve their best. The Department of Education philosophy that "effective teachers should take ownership and give a high priority to professional development" with support offered to each, and every, member of staff as the school continues their journey towards outstanding integrated with the Academy's development plan.

Pupil numbers have increased by over 400 over the last two years as have results. Core target area's within the school include raising the attainment in both numeracy and literacy linked throughout the syllabus and collaborative departments with extracurricular clubs and activities proving a key point in the continuously improving results. Successful teachers here are tenacious, engaging and inspire their pupils to become passionate not only about their subject but also about their pupil's approach to education.

Mathematics over key stages 3 and 4 utilises the AQA curriculum and consists of Three written papers and exam results for both higher and foundation levels. The school's designated CPD coordinator works alongside the SLT to ensure staff are supported but can also progress with clear and concise direction plans, encouragement, and early promotion opportunities. The school building is breath-taking upon arrival featuring an open plan, multi-layered entrance hall. The school facilities here are so unique the site also serves as a multi purpose venue for local businesses and community.

-A teaching qualification or relevant experience teaching Maths
-The ability to work well within a team and department
-Newly Qualified Teachers and teachers trained abroad or returning to the profession are also encouraged to apply.
-Capable and pragmatic teachers able to engage classrooms and deliver lesson's confidently and energetically.
-The right to work in the UK, up to date DBS check and a CV covering 10-year work history
