Tradewind are currently working with a school in Grimsby who are in need of regular cover in Maths over the next two academic terms. This will not be fixed days, and will range anywhere between 1 day per week and 4 days per week, and will involve covering staff members undergoing training. All of the planning will be done for you, so it will simply be a case of delivering pre-planned work by an excellent practitioner. We are looking for a flexible practitioner who is happy working on a supply basis, and a strong behaviour manager who can manage behaviour of students who don't have their regular class teacher. By looking for the same practitioner to do this regular cover, the school are looking for someone who can form positive lasting relationships with students. You will be paid between £110.00 and £145.00 per day for this ongoing position. The cover needs have already started, so we are looking for someone to start ASAP.


The School in question is a small academy that is part of a successful academy chain, focusing on inclusion and supporting students. This student centred approach is extremely well received by the supply teachers who have worked there (on long and short term contracts), and the head teacher is an inspirational figure who is well respected, and gives lots of respect in return. Student behaviour is improving due to exceptional behaviour management policies in place.
