Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a secondary school in Lincolnshire (commutable from Lincoln and Grimsby by car) , seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher for a part-time position. We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire and engage students. The successful candidate will be required to work every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday until Christmas, delivering high-quality content and maximising pupil engagement.

Role Overview:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students, primarily focusing on classes with a significant proportion of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role involves no planning and marking, as these tasks will be completed by the department. This position offers an imminent start and requires availability on the specified days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality maths lessons to secondary school students
  • Maximising pupil engagement and creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting the department's objectives
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students with SEN

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level
  • Desirable: Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Desirable: DBS on the update service (applicants without this are still encouraged to apply)

Salary:

The position offers a competitive daily rate between £140 and £170. Payments are made weekly via our centralised payroll system.
